Lightweight slab for buildings
Modula'Dalle

ModulaDalle

ECO-RESPONSIBLE:

  • LESS MATERIAL: Consumes up to three times less concrete than a conventional slab.
  • LESS ENERGY: Much lighter than a conventional pre-slab, Modula'Dalle requires fewer trucks and therefore less energy for transportation. When built directly on site, only the lightweight cores are delivered.
  • LESS CO2: Depending on the material used for its core, Modula'Dalle is either a low CO2 emitter or, in its version with a mycocomposite core, a “CO2 trap” (version under study).

MULTIFUNCTIONAL:

  • PRE-FITTED: As an option, Modula'Dalle can be fitted with markers to position equipment such as false ceiling supports, partition rails, etc. Operators can easily insert fixing pins into these markings by hand, without pre-drilling.
  • EVOLUTIVE: Modula'Dalle can be equipped with one or more conduit networks (for electrical ducts, fluid pipes, heating, etc.) with access ports. This allows for equipping the slab at the time of construction and modifying or removing this equipment as required throughout the building's lifetime.
  • SIMPLE: The absence of beams simplifies the installation of underside equipment (e.g., air-conditioning ducts no longer have to bypass the beams).

ECONOMICAL :

  • COMPACT: Being self-supporting, Modula'Dalle eliminates the need for beams. Although it's thicker than a conventional slab (30 cm vs. 20 cm), the overall footprint is considerably smaller, allowing a 30m-high building to be extended by one or two storeys.
  • LIGHT: The reduced weight of Modula'Dalle requires less load-bearing structure (columns and/or walls) and, above all, simpler, less costly foundations.
  • PRODUCTIVE: By integrating fluid network conduits, providing easy-to-fit markers, and eliminating the obstacle of beams, Modula'Dalle makes finishing work safer, simpler, and faster.
